The user presets
The adjustment of modes of work of USB Autoscope III is similar to the work with analog oscilloscope. However, there uses all advantages of digital electronics. One of this features is the ability to create or use presets in order not to have to adjust every time USB Autoscope III at the same regimes of work. Thus, you can adjust USB Autoscope III once on the most often used regime and save it, calling it such as "lambda-sensor" or download a universal user presets. And the next time when you will need to see oscillogram of lambda sensor output signal, you will not need to re-adjust mode USB Autoscope III, but simply cause a user preset "Oxygen-Sensor".

-
"Lx_Universal+"
This mode is intended for diagnosing of individual ignition coils with the built-in amplifier, the universal inductive transducer Lx Universal is used. The socket of the transducer Lx Universal should be connected to the input "Ignition" located on back panel of the USB Autoscope III, transducer Lx Universal must be installed above the diagnosed ignition coil. It is necessary to connect oscilloscope probe to the input "Sync" of the transducer, a black "crocodile" clip of the oscilloscope probe must be connected to the "ground" of the diagnosed engine, the lead of oscilloscope probe must be connected in parallel with operating lead of the diagnosed ignition coil.
-
"Ignition_Timing"
Starts the PlugIn "Ignition phase measurement" which in real time calculates and displays ignition timing and RPM of the diagnosed engine.
In order to perform this test, the spark plug on the cylinder used must be removed and the pressure transducer Px installed and connected to the 1-st analog input of USB Autoscope III. A spark tester with a spark gap of not less than 5mm must be connected to the plug wire and grounded. The cylinder sync probe Sync (black color) should be attached to the spark plug wire for this cylinder.
